Putin Issues Warning to Israel

Russian President Vladimir Putin issued a stern warning on Saturday to Israel, saying that it should not allow its opposition to Moscow supplying Iran with weapons move it to supply Ukraine with weapons. In an interview with Rossiya 1 TV, Putin said Israel could do whatever it wants but “it will only lead to yet another swirl of confrontation, to more human casualties, but the result will be the same.” In related news, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced over the weekend that he will join the growing list of world leaders declining Putin’s invitation to attend the massive parades in Moscow on 9 May to commemorate the 70th anniversary of the end of WWII in Europe.
