Who is your Life Coach?

One night the Lord spoke to Paul in a vision: “Do not be afraid; keep on speaking, do not be silent.” -Acts 18:9

WOW! How blessed to have a mentor like Pastor Leonard! Also Wanell Pate, Pastor Paul Holt, and Barbara Gould…….all have given me Godly encouragement and Godly wisdom the last few days!

I say Godly encouragement and Godly wisdom, because there is a lot of unGodly stuff out there even in the Christian World, you and me must have Godly discernment! AMEN!

The Coach of life………..

Being a sports fan I grew up watching baseball managers and coaches and studying them…….I grew up attached to some……School teachers……Sunday School teachers………all mentor’s of mine. That is why I preach and teach that we all must have Godly mentor’s.

This morning I was working on a story at FGGAM www.fggam.org about the state of affairs in New Mexico and how the political season has started, the race for Governor and Mayor’s etc.How these folks now spend much of their time raising money and not doing the people’s business. I pray these folks have Godly mentor’s, I pray that they keep their eyes on Jesus Christ and if they don’t know Jesus, pray with me that they come to Him. The bottom line is here in the United States the people’s business as a whole is not getting done! More importantly GODS BUSINESS NEEDS TO GET DONE! Now you look at the effort to end late term abortion in Albuquerque, that is AWESOME! We have a lack of water and child hunger here in New Mexico that need to be addressed. Our life is to be all about Jesus, let me encourage you today……IT’S ALL ABOUT JESUS!

Our best life coach is Jesus!

Believe in God’s ability to mentor you, to teach you, to groom you.

God’s inspiring words contains compelling evidence of his desire to be your companion for life.

He is there when you need to grow. Some of you reading this don’t think you need to grow in the Lord anymore…….be careful with that. I am growing everyday in our Lord, I need to!

Let these words encourage you this day and all days………

Do not be afraid or discouraged, for the LORD will personally go ahead of you. He will be with you; He will neither fail you nor abandon you. Deut. 31:8

I like to say the Lord forms the runway for us………..for a smooth landing to our daily destination.

For I know the plans I have for you, says the LORD. They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope. Jer. 29:11

What I say to folks about that is, you have got to be listening to the Lord for His plans, not depending on YOUR OWN PLANS. And then you need mentor’s to help you during this time.

And the God of all grace, who called you to his eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will himself restore you and make you strong, firm, and steadfast.

A reminder that we will suffer at times during this life on earth, but God restores us! Amen!
