Last night playing softball I was in the dugout and it was passed along to me that I had an urgent phone call from a TV news reporter to comment on the Judges decision to allow same-sex marriage in Bernalillo County New Mexico. Well, for heavens sakes, no one is going to interrupt the game unless it’s God himself! After the game I exchanged emails with the Ch. 13 reporter. If I was interviewed I would say God has the comments on marriage and they are in the Bible. God created marriage. We have a mess here in New Mexico with a County Clerk playing God and Judges doing the same.The floodgates are now open in New Mexico for same-sex marriage. The state’s three largest counties are allowing same-sex marriage. Is there any other state in the Union that has some counties allowing same-sex marriage and others do not, like New Mexico. I pointed this out last night to the reporter, she said she would do her research. What about the churches in New Mexico, specifically in Bernalillo, Santa Fe, or Dona Ana County, that will soon, I would think, will be approached by a gay couple and asked to be married in the church? This morning at 8am same-sex marriage licenses will be issued by the County Clerk. Let us be in prayer.
