The extended deadline for talks between Iran and the P5+1 nuclear powers (US, UK, France, Russia, China and Germany) arrived on Tuesday with no end in sight. However, Iranian Ground Force Commander General Ahmad Reza Pourdastan told local media, among other things, that his country would remain a bitter enemy of the US no matter what the outcome of the negotiations. “Our enmity with them is over the principles and is rooted because we are after the truth and nations’ freedom, but they seek exploiting nations and putting them in chains,” he explained.
