Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu hosted visiting British Foreign Secretary Philip Hammond in Jerusalem on Thursday, challenging him during their joint press conference before their meeting to, among other things, explain why the UK government’s stance against Anti-Semitism doesn’t extend to the routine anti-Semitic statements made by government officials in Teheran. Addressing the recently announced agreement regarding the Islamic Republic’s renegade nuclear program, he added. “We would have wanted to see a deal that says the following: Iran, you will get the easing on the restrictions on your nuclear program, and you will get sanctions relief if you change your behavior first. In fact, there is no requirement for any change of behavior on the part of Iran, which is what makes this deal so fundamentally flawed.” Hammond kept his response polite and mostly vague.Click here to watch the video of the press conference
