How Sharp Are You?

Today, let’s pray about being sharp.

Proverbs 27:1

As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another.

1 Thessalonians 5:12

Now we ask you, brothers and sisters, to acknowledge those who work hard among you, who care for you in the Lord and who admonish you. Hold them in the highest regard in love because of their work. Live in peace with each other. And we urge you, brothers and sisters, warn those who are idle and disruptive, encourage the disheartened, help the weak, be patient with everyone. Make sure that nobody pays back wrong for wrong, but always strive to do what is good for each other and for everyone else.

Father, thank you today for making us sharp. We were not created to be isolated and alone. We need each other. Thank you today for bringing people and communities together. Lord, I pray where there is offense, people will lay it down and be free. Every day is a new beginning.

Together all across this globe, we thank you for the gift you have placed within each of us. May others sharpen us today. (Are you sharp and are you helping someone else sharpen their life too?)  We were all created in the same image. Help us to identify the beauty in each other.

Today, we will choose to color beautiful thoughts and words on each life we encounter. Amen

Have A Blessed Day, For this is the Day the Lord has made and we will rejoice and be glad in it.
