EPA Says Sludge in Animas River Will Have Long-Term Impact

This is a tragic story, and now the sludge from Colorado’s Gold King Mine has reached New Mexico. The EPA is saying that this spill will have a long-term impact and cleanup will take a very long time. The rate of the discharge on Saturday was down from about 750 gallons per minute on Friday. The EPA said it still doesn’t know what the possible environmental and health impacts are.  MORE HERE
