UPDATED 4:47pm Labor Day: Jonathan has now been transferred from the trauma icu floor to the neurology
icu floor. The doctors believe the trauma portion is stable enough to where they
can place more focus and attention to his spine and brain injuries now. We’re
grateful for all of the wonderful staff in the trauma unit who have cared for
Jonathan and been so patient and explanatory with us these past few days. It’s a
real blessing to have been placed in this facility.

UPDATED 2:46pm Friday: PRAISE GOD! Jimmy called me and he was alone with Jonathon and put me on the speaker phone and we prayed! What a wonderful time in our LORD! AMEN! We thank the Lord for the healing that is talking place! Amen! Here is an update:
From earlier. Good morning.. Jonathan is stable and is recovering from surgery
this morning. The doctor took off his neck brace this morning saying he doesn’t
need it anymore. He has opened his eyes a few times on commands. It’s going to
be a positive day of healing… Keep praying for his heeling and keep the
faith.
And now…
Just did breathing test. Lowered his meds and turned off
breathing machine. He’s doing great and currently breathing entirely on his own.
If he keeps it up, they will be able to remove the intubation tube soon. His
blood pressure continues to stabilize more and more and the doctors have been
able to lower that medication significantly as well.
Let us all continue to pray for complete healing in Jesus name, and give praise and thanks to our LORD! AMEN!

UPDATED AT 5:13am Friday WE GIVE PRAISE AND THANKS TO OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST FOR THIS REPORT FOR THIS REPORT! …..I got this text message from Jimmy, Jonathon’s Dad…….Good news… The surgery is over and God placed an amazing doctor at the helm.
He said he was able to set his spine just as planned and relieve all the
pressure off of his spinal chord. His spinal chord was not severed, only
bruised. He said there is a legitimate chance( not a great one), but a chance
that he will regain use of his legs. Dr said that one thing that was working in
his favor was his brain injury. He says that once this injury starts healing
and he can communicate with them that they will get a better idea as to just how
much sensation he has in his legs. The situation looks much more promising than
just a few hours ago.
I also talked to Jimmy last night. He and the entire family thank you for all your prayers! People are praying for Jonathon all over the world! PRAISE GOD! PRAISE GOD!

Jimmy asks that we all be in continuous prayer for Jonathon, for healing from all the wounds he suffered. We pray for a healthy brain and legs, in Jesus name, Amen!

I just got off the phone with the Daddy of Jonathon Savage who was severely injured in a motorcycle accident yesterday in Laredo, Texas. Jonathan is being taken into surgery at this time. Please join me on this podcast of emergency prayer for Jonathon. Here is the background……
Pray for Jonathon Savage of Laredo, TX. He was injured today (Wed) in a motorcycle
accident . He was wearing a helmet when he collided with a cinder block wall.
The extent of his injuries are unknown at the time of this message. The medical
staff has not informed his father Jimmy Savage at this time other than it is
possible he will be air lifted to San Antonio. Thank you for your prayers.
UPDATE: Jonathon is being air lifted to San Antonio. He had a
head fracture and the medical team is concerned about hemorrhaging.
Wed. Night Update: He has severe spinal cord injury. The spine cut the spinal cord. no movement in
the legs. He’s being prepped to go into surgery tonight. Surgery was delayed, they had to stabilize Jonathon. Pictured is Jonathon with his Daddy Jimmy.

I am just so saddened by this. I am glad ro hear that there is a good chance that he will regain use of his legs, and that his surgery went well. I am continuously praying for him.I just know that he will be ok. May God bless Jonathan.

I’m Jonathon’s former biology teacher. Im deeply sadden that he suffered this terrible accident. We have faith in God that he will heal from his injuries. Prayers on the way.
