Psalm 119:66 Teach me knowledge and good judgment, for I trust your commands.
Knowing God’s word is the foundation and beginning of choosing faith over fear. Our knowledge of the word of God can be deciding factor in the strength or weakness of our faith. It is knowing what God’s word says that will give you the courage to stretch your faith in trusting God for the impossible. As you commit yourself to obey God’s word with your actions then it will give you the confidence when you are confronted by fear. As you step out in faith in obedience to the word of God, you will be less afraid of the unknown. Look at Abraham he believed God and it was credited to him as righteous. Abraham put his faith into action when he offered Isaac on the altar. James 2:22 You see that his faith and his actions were working together and his faith was made complete by what he did. James 2:17 In the same way faith by itself if it is not accompanied by action is dead .The word of God says that the just shall live by faith Romans 1:17
Hebrews 10:22 Let us draw near to God with a sincere heart in full assurance of faith. 23 Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess for he who promised is faithful.
