Duran takes plea deal UPDATED

From the New Mexico Democratic Party Facebook page BREAKING: The Secretary of State’s office released a statement late Thursday night announcing the resignation of Secretary Duran, as well as the cancellation of the rulemaking hearings scheduled for Friday, October 23rd.
“In light of Secretary Duran’s apparent resignation, I am hopeful that we can move forward with a fair election in 2016, and that trust can be restored in the Secretary of State’s office,” said Democratic Party of New Mexico Chairwoman Debra Haaland. “We will have a strong Democratic candidate that will take a hard look at the drop in voter participation in New Mexico as well as the other various issues facing the Secretary of State’s office.”
Let us be in prayer for Dianna Duran……I have interviewed her on radio….I have talked to her in the past……..I am heart broken for her and her family.
