Turkish capital hit by massive car-bomb attack
The Turkish capital of Ankara was hit Wednesday with a massive explosion that killed at least 28 people and wounded dozens of others. The attack occurred in the heart of a complex which houses the headquarters of Turkey’s military, its parliament building and several other government structures. Turkish media reported on Thursday that security sources had identified the driver of the suicide-car bomb as Salih Necar, a Syrian national who entered Turkey as a refugee and was a member of the Kurdish YPG faction.
