Is He Allowed In Your Town Or City?
Today, let’s pray for our towns and cities once again.
Father, you know where the darkness is in our city. You are the God that sees it all. Nothing is hidden from you, no nothing.
We thank you that you are the God of light. Today, we join our faith and ask you to bring hope to the hopeless, deliverance to the addicted and salvation to the perishing.
Father, we declare you are the God of this city; you are the answer to life’s many complex problems.
We lift up the homeless, the bruised and wounded souls as we pray your heart over our city. We pray healing for the sick, deliverance for those held captive, truth for lies and that your people would be safe inside the towns and cities in which we reside. We stand against domestic violence, abuse and every form of wickedness from the highest places.
We ask you God for forgiveness where there has been injustice. We ask you for truth to rein. Oh God, don’t let church be church as usual in our city. (Ask him to come in power to the churches in your city). Pour out your spirit just like you said you would in the book of Acts over our towns and cities.
Lord, you said we have not because we ask not. We are not asking for gold or silver, but for the Word of God, the Presence of God and the Power of God to come to our city. According to your Word if we prayed and believed we would receive. We desperately need you involved in our towns and cities.
All across this globe today, we receive the Word of the Lord. Thank you for pouring out your spirit on our towns and cities. We receive. Amen
