What About…Yes!
As I sat to write this morning I had to chuckle. Kids are so funny. I have a cabinet that I keep cereal, snacks and other miscellaneous foods stored in my kitchen. The cabinet is up quite high and whenever my grandson Emmett visits he will take my hand and go point to that cabinet and say what about and I’ll name off what’s in the cabinet. One by one I’ll say the item and he will say what about and eventually I will say something that he will like and he will shake his head yes. This weekend it was fruit snacks. I think he did what about until the box was just about empty. Kids are so amazing. I love to hear him say what about.
So today I thought we would start the week off with what about praise. Yes!
Psalm 150:6
Let everything that has breath praise the Lord. Praise the Lord.
I Chronicles 16:23-27
Sing to the Lord, all the earth; proclaim his salvation day after day. Declare his glory among the nations, his marvelous deeds among all peoples. For great is the Lord and most worthy of praise; he is to be feared above all gods. For all the gods of the nations are idols, but the Lord made the heavens. Splendor and majesty are before him; strength and joy are in his dwelling place.
Father, thank you that we have so much to praise your name about. You said let everything that has breath praise the Lord. As we fix our eyes on you, oh God, and look to the hills from whence our help cometh, we don’t have to worry, for your Word says you will never leave us nor forsake us.
All the what abouts in our lives we continue to believe the Holy Scriptures’. Today whatever the what about’s in peoples lives all across this globe, we join our faith together and say what about Jesus says. May people today choose to believe on the name of Jesus and believe His Word. The book is never empty and His promises are yes and amen!
We will choose to praise you as we continue to lift all our what about prayer requests to you. You will answer in your time. You are a good Father. Amen
Have A Blessed Day Beautiful People, For this is the Day the Lord has made and we will rejoice and be glad in it. What about a praise …Yes!
