The leadership of the Southern Baptist Convention, America’s largest Protestant denomination, passed a resolution this week declaring their opposition to efforts to Boycott, Divest and Sanction (BDS) Israel. “We support the right of Israel to exist as a sovereign state and reject any activities that attack that right by promoting economic, cultural, and academic boycotts against Israel,” the resolution said.
