Let us pray for the people of Albuquerque as they face an increase in crime. We have lived in Albuquerque since 1995. The Duke City is where FGGAM was birthed,(4 years young this August!) it will always have a special place in my heart. I weep at all the crime in our city, I also do not know of any area in America that is seeing a decrease on crime, if you know of any area that is seeing a decrease, let me know. Crime does not know a zip code, it is all over America, even in small town America. I weep for my country as it struggles for survival. This is not the America I wanted to leave my children and grandchildren. I will occupy and proclaim the good news of our Lord Jesus Christ until He returns, I will not retreat, I will stand in the gap for God. We must stop the hate, we pray for unity in America and in the Church. Way too much hate in America and on Facebook. I have learned this from my Lord: Whatever your position is on anything, if you cannot do it in love, your a clanging cymbal and your message is worthless. Read 1 Corinthians 13. Thanks to Chuck Tate for that! Correcting behavior needs to be done in love. Nothing roars like the love of our Lord Jesus Christ! People will be attracted to your love of Jesus and of them, they will stay away from you if hate spews from your mouth. More on crime in Albuquerque: ABQ JOURNAL STORY

Luke 19:11-27
As they heard these things, he proceeded to tell a parable, because he was near to Jerusalem, and because they supposed that the kingdom of God was to appear immediately. He said therefore, “A nobleman went into a far country to receive for himself a kingdom and then return. Calling ten of his servants, he gave them ten minas, and said to them, ‘Engage in business until I come.’ But his citizens hated him and sent a delegation after him, saying, ‘We do not want this man to reign over us.’ When he returned, having received the kingdom, he ordered these servants to whom he had given the money to be called to him, that he might know what they had gained by doing business. …
2 Timothy 4:8
Henceforth there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, will award to me on that Day, and not only to me but also to all who have loved his appearing.
Here is a note we got from a reader……..
Dewey, I want to thank you for your steadfast defense of God’s word. I am always uplifted by your courage to stand up in this world and shout your faith and the moral convictions that go with it. It is time for the world to hear the lion’s roar from Christians.
