John 14:13-14 And I will do whatever you ask in my name so that the Son may bring glory to the Father. 14 You may ask me for anything in my name and I will do it.
There is power in Jesus name through prayer
Hebrews 7:25 Therefore he is able to save completely those who come to God through him because he always lives to intercede for them.
His Word has power and authority over all the works of the enemy. We as children of God need to know who we are in Christ. You may have struggles in areas where you are so overwhelmed with life issues that you find ourselves defeated. Just remember God is always interceding on your behalf. God is faithful to his Word.
2 Thessalonians 3:3 But the Lord is faithful and he will strengthen you protect you from the evil one.
Never loose hope in God, he is always there waiting for you to go to him .
Matthew 11:28 Come to me all you who are weary and burdened and I will give you rest 29 Take my yoke upon you and learn from me for I am gentle and humble in heart and you will find rest for your souls 30 For my yoke is easy and my burden is light .
Matthew 6:6 But when you pray go into your room close the door and pray to your Father who is unseen. Then your Father who sees what is done in secret will reward you.
There is a reward that comes to you when you go before the Father for he knows and sees what you want and need . First you need to confess your sins , God is faithful and will purify you from all unrighteousness
1 John 1:9 If we confess our sins he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.
Mark 11:24 Therefore I tell you whatever you ask for in prayer believe that you have received it and it will be yours. 25 And whenever you stand praying if you hold anything against anyone , forgive him so that your Father in heaven may forgive you your sins.
It takes a strong person to say I am sorry, and a stronger person to forgive. When you forgive you are no longer bound by the enemy . You have that authority in Jesus name to be free, free from the past and free to move on to your future. One might say it is difficult to forget, but it is a choice that you need to make by taking baby steps one day at a time and say Lord I chose to walk in forgiveness , God knows your heart and he will honor you.
Through my life experiences I had to come to a place where I knew that I needed to forgive things in my past in order for me to be free and move on, I can go on in life and pretend that all is alright but deep down in my soul there were hurts and pain that only God could heal. I always asked God to fill me with his love and to be light for him and help me to walk in forgiveness. God has never failed me though I might of fail him at times but he was always there to pick me up. God requires you to be humble and he will lift you up, never put yourself better then others. Love people where there at, God loved you…Whenever you go to God in prayer he will honor and answer your prayers…..there might be times where you might have to wait for the answer these are times when you have to trust him .. but in the mist of waiting give him thanks and praise
1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 Be joyful always 17 Pray continually 18 give thanks in all circumstances for this is God ‘s will for you in Christ Jesus.
2 Corinthians 1:20 For no matter how many promises God has made they are yes in Christ and so through him the Amen is spoken by us to the glory of God.
2 Corinthians 4:13 It is written I believed, therefore I have spoken with that same spirit of faith we also believe and therefore speak.
1 John 5:14 This is the confidence we have approaching God, that if we ask anything according to his will he hears us, And if we know that he hears us whatever we ask we know that we have what we asked of him.
Lord thank you for your love, mercy and grace, help us to walk in forgiveness ,it is our desire to forgive others as you forgave us , so that our prayers will be heard and honored , let us walk in your love to be able to love like you loved us Amen
