There are several key takeaways in this wisdom building scripture. Our work, both on the job & out in the world, is important! Put in the thought, time & effort needed to do your job, as well as you possibly can. Remembering we really work for God, helps us consistently produce our best efforts. Stop looking to others to see how you stack up. Simply knowing you give it your best all day, every day, will bring great results. No need to look down on others, or to worry we aren’t the best.
Taking our given responsibilities seriously, is the best way to shine in the eyes of our employers, and our Creator. A good worker enjoys satisfaction & contentment that is a reward in itself. God designed us to work, & a job well done speaks highly of your relationship with & commitment to Jesus.
