Revelation 21:4

He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away.”

Ecclesiastes 12:7

And the dust returns to the earth as it was, and the spirit returns to God who gave it.

Romans 14:8

For if we live, we live to the Lord, and if we die, we die to the Lord. So then, whether we live or whether we die, we are the Lord’s.

Behold! I tell you a mystery. We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised imperishable, and we shall be changed. For this perishable body must put on the imperishable, and this mortal body must put on immortality. When the perishable puts on the imperishable, and the mortal puts on immortality, then shall come to pass the saying that is written: “Death is swallowed up in victory.” “O death, where is your victory? O death, where is your sting?” …

Here is an update on Fairbanks Police Officer Allen Brandt, who was shot multiple times last week.

The following is from Allen’s wife, thanks to our Dear Friend, Rachelle Moore Brandt, Allen’s sister-in-law, for sending this to us. PRAISE GOD!

He is Alive! It was a crazy week! We are overwhelmingly blessed by our friends, family, churches, police family, community, across the state of Alaska, and around the country! We left the hospital and are resting up before a second surgery Thursday on his left eye to remove the shrapnel. The wait is to allow blood clotting in the eye to liquefy so that it can be drained and the Doctor can see in his eye to preform surgery. The prognosis is worse case scenario for saving his eye. But even at that point the doctors have seen eyes come back. When held open, Allen has a tiny hint of light coming through but no vision. His eye is also holding pressure. He is having most his pain above his eye. Wear safety glasses! We have seen a Miracle from God in saving Allen’s life. Continue to pray for a miracle in healing his eye. His other holes are healing up nicely. He is able to walk and get around. His muscles will rebuild. No arteries or bones were hit(Amazing only God could do)! The bullets were left in his body to minimize further damage searching for them. One bullet maybe working its way to the surface on his right shin bone. Another has decided to rest under is left sitting bone. It is very uncomfortable to sit on. The third one is somewhere?! (Two other bullets split his skin and one hit his vest.) We will wait and see what the future brings with those issues after his eye is cared for. God has given us many blessing despite the circumstances, the biggest has been support! Thank you for all your love! Love the Brandts.

Please continue to pray for the Brandt’s.  AMEN and PRAISE GOD! God Bless you all!
