Decisions, Decisions, Decisions…
I went to see the movie sometime ago now God Is Not Dead. It’s a great movie and I was blessed. I received a couple of texts from friends that went to see the movie as well, that read God is not dead. I couldn’t help but respond with a text, He is alive and well and His spirit lives within me. Jesus died but He arose again.
I am always amazed when people say they don’t believe in God. It makes my heart sink really, for I know they believe a lie. Life is a journey, it isn’t always easy, doesn’t always go in ways we think or plan, but I am thankful today that the creator of the universe knows every detail of our lives. His love for us is so hard to comprehend, that He would lay down His life for us, but it’s true, it really is.
I remember having a pastor that told us after he preached his well prepared anointed sermon, don’t take my word for this, go home and look this up in your Bible for yourselves. That was excellent advice and I did just that. I took my journal along with my Bible and I began the most incredible journey I have ever been on. The Lord revealed Himself in the mountain top experiences as well as in the deep valleys. In every place Jesus met with me and I can declare before the world today, Jesus is alive. The Word of the God is true, it’s alive, it’s active and it’s sharper than any two edged sword (Hebrews 4:12).
Today, I say the same to you, don’t take my word for it, ask Jesus to reveal Himself to you. I am certain you will soon discover He is alive, His word is true and His Spirit desires to live within you. You will find yourself on an incredible journey, one that will change your life forever. Take time to read the book of John in your Bible this Christmas.
Today’s Prayer: Father, thank you for laying your life down for all mankind. Thank you today you are alive and well and your spirit does live within all whomever will ask. No one will be denied if they ask and receive. Today, we join our faith and pray and believe many will come to know you this Christmas season, all across this globe.
We have not because we ask not, today I join my faith with every reader that will dare to believe Your Word, that they too will receive the greatest gift ever given, Jesus. I pray many will choose to believe today and begin the journey of knowing you Lord, for there’s nothing greater than journeying with Jesus. We give you thanks.
