Terror Attack Kills Eight in Egypt
Israeli units guarding the southern border with Egypt were on high alert Tuesday following an attack which killed eight Egyptian police officers and wounded 13 others in al-Arish, just a few kilometers west of the Israeli border. Although there has been no claim of responsibility for the attack, the Islamic State (IS) terror militia’s local franchise has been involved in an ongoing campaign against the government in the area for several years.
