Does God Love Justice?
Isaiah 61: 7-9 Instead of your shame you will receive a double portion,
and instead of disgrace you will rejoice in your inheritance. And so you will inherit a double portion in your land, and everlasting joy will be yours. For I, the Lord, love justice; I hate robbery and wrongdoing. In my faithfulness I will reward my people and make an everlasting covenant with them. Their descendants will be known among the nations and their offspring among the peoples. All who see them will acknowledge that they are a people the Lord has blessed.
Father, thank you that You, oh God, are a God of justice. Thank you that You love justice. Today, we continue to put our trust in You. No matter who has done us wrong, we never have to seek revenge or try to get even. Your Word tells us God Himself is our vindicator. Psalm 26:1
You are the God of payback according to Hebrews 10:30. We thank you for payback in our nation. We thank you for payback in every area of our individual lives. Thank you for being a God of justice. We continue to put our trust in You. Amen
