The Trump administration hit Iran with new sanctions on Friday for test-firing a medium-range ballistic missile, an action that was viewed by the White House as being in defiance of a U.N. resolution. The sanctions target 13 people and a dozen entities, including ‘several networks and supporters of Iran’s ballistic missile procurement,’ the U.S. Treasury Department said in a statement. The move came two days after National Security Adviser Michael Flynn said the White House was putting Iran ‘on notice.’
