From Pastor Don Kimbro: I love the Lord, because He has heard my voice and my supplications. Because He has inclined His ear to me, therefore I will call upon Him as long as I live. — Psalm 116:1-2

Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him. — 1 John 5:14-15

Albuquerque, New Mexico, is the late-term abortion capital of America. When innocent blood is shed in a place, it brings a curse on that place. (Psalm 139:13-16; Jeremiah 1:5; Proverbs 24:11; Deuteronomy 21:8-9)

New Mexico is the second most dangerous state in America and is in the top three for violent crime, forcible rape, aggravated assault, property crime and burglary. (Psalm 11:5; Genesis 6:11-13; Ezekiel 7:23; Jeremiah 22:3).

New Mexico leads the nation in alcohol-related deaths, is first in illicit drug dependence among persons 12 and older, and is second in drug overdose mortality rate. (Galatians 5:1; John 8:36; 1 Corinthians 6:12; Ephesians 5:18-20)

New Mexico again ranked 49th for educational quality in a national review of measures like high school graduation rates, Advanced Placement exam results, school finances and pre-K enrollment. (3 John 2; John 10:10; Psalm 140:12; Deuteronomy 15:7-11; Psalm 82:3-4)

Historically, New Mexico has been a place where witchcraft, idolatry, and Wiccan covens have thrived. (Exodus 22:18; Isaiah 8:19; Acts 19:19; 1 Samuel 15:23; 2 Corinthians 10:4; Ephesians 6:12)

THIS IS WHY WE PRAY

Please join us at Civic Plaza or at an event where you live.

From Pastor Brian Alarid:

Greetings in Jesus’ precious name!
I want to invite you and your church to join us for Albuquerque National Day of Prayer on May 4 from 12-1 pm at Civic Plaza. It is essential for the Body of Christ to stand together unified in prayer and lift up the name of Jesus over our city and state.

The National Day of Prayer is an annual observance held on the first Thursday of May, inviting people of all faiths to pray for the nation. It was created in 1952 by a joint resolution of the United States Congress, and signed into law by President Harry S. Truman.

Our theme this year is For Your Great Name’s Sake! Hear Us… Forgive Us…Heal Us! Taken from Daniel 9:19, which says, “O Lord, Listen! O Lord, Forgive! O Lord, Hear and Act! For Your Sake, O My God…”
