Just think, when JESUS CAME TO EARTH, there wasn’t ONE SAVED PERSON!!
NOW HE IS IN US ….TO CONTINUE HIS WORK!
GO DEWEY GO!
( I asked THE LORD to show me something special this morning, so HE HAD ME EXAMINE THE SMALL walnut branches outside my window. So thin hanging down…bare…across the street are the green leaves of an ash and even some new redish brown leaves that have opened up these past few days.)
But just silhouettes of the walnut trees skinny branches.
And yet some who within those bare branches will come leafs and even walnuts …it is amazing to know that somehow those skinny branches will hold so many things, even though we can not see any evidence of it with our eyes. And yet, we know from the year before that it will happen and the squirrels will be coming here often.
That IS GOD’S WONDER!
HOW HE PLANNED TO HAVE SUCH HEAVY THINGS COME OUT OF SUCH A SKINNY LITTLE BRANCH.
SO HOW CAN WE DOUBT THAT HE DOES NOT HAVE PLANS WHERE HE HAS ” PLANTED” US?
Remembering THE FRUIT OF THE SPIRIT…is just that…THE SPIRIT’S FRUIT…NOT MAN’S!
We have to let it flow through each of us and exhibit to others what GOD INTENDS !
BE excited for this new day…and let others see HIS FRUIT!

vSaturday I preached Robin Ellis’s funeral and the Emmanuel Baptist Church in Grants, NM. Robin is the mother of Bo. Many of you prayed for Bo last year at this time. He passed away of a bad truck wreck. I was in the trauma unit with Robin. Robin became a dear friend. She passed away of a brain aneurysm at age 54. She had custody of two of her grandchildren. Her daughter Megan just had a another child. Please pray for Megan to draw closer to God. I was able to minister to the grandchildren and family before the service.
Pray for the family as they look after the grandchildren and each other. Thank the Lord for Pastors like Garland Moore who also preached at the service. Garland will be watching Megan.
My heart breaks for New Mexico! We just had a report that New Mexico is the most dangerous place to live and now comes this very sad news that New Mexico had the worst graduation rate in the nation in 2015. ABQ Journal Report
At the Albuquerque National Day of Prayer at the Civic Plaza on Tuesday, attended by over 2,000 people, Mercy Alarid prayed for education in New Mexico. Such a POWERFUL PRAYER by this woman of God! I learn from Mercy every time I talk to her, or hear her pray!
I want to share Mercy’s powerful prayer with you………
Statistics tell us that New Mexico is 49th in child well being and 50th in child reading proficiency, even though we spend $9,000.00 a year per student and a total of $2 Billion on education. If money were the issue, we would have the best educational system money can afford. But money is not the source of our problem. Today, we want to pray for wisdom for our Governor, legislators, Superintendents, Principals, and school staff to manage those resources wisely in ways that positively affect our children and youth. Above all, we ask Lord that the fear of the Lord would fill the hearts and minds of all those leaders we have mentioned so that they make decisions that improve the quality of our education, regardless of the political cost. We thank you for the access we have to public schools and all of the resources they afford. We also want to thank you for Christian Schools. We ask that you would give them supernatural provision to keep their doors open and to continue being the beacons of light in our communities. May they have what they need to disciple and educate the next generation of Christian attorneys, judges, architects, police officers, nurses, electricians and professionals that will change New Mexico. Lastly, Lord, we pray that you would send more workers into the field of education. That more and more godly people would accept your call into school boards and positions such as teachers, principals, counselors and educational assistants. Help us to be salt and light in our state. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

So sad to report New Mexico is Number 1!
Believe it or not, but New Mexico, one of the least densely populated places in the country, has the highest crime rate in the nation. Why? The number of violent crimes per person is the 4th highest and the number of property crimes is the 2nd highest.
