Albuquerque has done enough xeriscape! The average summer temperature in the city has risen because of this according to my friend Marcus, owner of the Lawn Rangers in Albuquerque. Marcus also said that trees that are surrounded by rocks and cement or black top, have a tough time. It drives me crazy to see the trees dying in the city! Mismanagement of planting and in so many cases not enough water!
Xeriscape looks nice at times, but when is enough, enough?
