Please join me in praying for the State of Virginia as well as the residents of Charlottesville:
Heavenly Father, we cry out on behalf of the residents that have experienced bigotry, racism and violence in Charlottesville, Virginia. Our hearts break because of the hate that lives deep in the hearts of wicked men and women that perpetuated these horrible acts of violence. Bring peace, love and healing to this city as well as the United States of America. Help us as Christian Pastors, Leaders and Believers to lead others to love and not hate, heal and not hurt, unite and not divide as we all work towards being a United Church for a Divided World. Let us live out our love and not merely talk about it. Help us to embrace people different than us. Help us to be intentional about our friendships and relationships. Let us be known by our love, Christ’s love that saved us! I pray wisdom for our national, state and local leaders not only there in Charlottesville but throughout the United States as be bring healing and unity from the pains and hurts that we have inflicted upon one another. I thank You Lord for hearing our prayers and I pray in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen!
