Good Morning Beautiful People…Talk With The King And Let Him Change Your Circumstances
This morning, I just wanted to continue to encourage you to persevere in prayer. This is no time to let up. We serve a covenant keeping God. His Word is yes and amen, and He is watching over His Word to perform it. (Jeremiah 1:12)
Luke 11:9-10 So I say to you: Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened.
Another key is that we must have the right motive. James 4:2-3 tells us that we desire but do not have. We covet but we cannot get what we want, so we quarrel and fight. We do not have because we do not ask God. When we ask, we do not receive, because we ask with wrong motives, that we may spend what you get on our pleasures.
As God’s people come together with a time of prayer and repentance it will release the greatest outpouring of His spirit. It is time to intercede as never before as we stand in the gap on behalf of others, as well as entire nations.
Invite others to join you in prayer. The power in the prayer of agreement from Matthew 18:19 Again I say to you, that if two of you agree on earth about anything that they may ask, it shall be done for them by My Father who is in heaven.
This past Tuesday evening, I had the privilege to join my faith with others at the Crown of Maine Prayer Strategy Meeting held this month in Fort Fairfield, Maine. It was nice to see people from different denominations coming together praying for repentance and an increase of desire for revival. We petitioned the King for safety in our communities and deliverance from the effects of drugs. We prayed for local law enforcement, teachers and educators. We prayed for healing amongst the Body of Christ. Physical emotional, financial healing was on our radar. We prayed for pastors, priests, congregations, families, government, courts at all levels, state employees, our military, Israel, Allagash Awakening and so much more.
I loved how the night ended with the blowing of the shofar and the Hebrew blessing. Oh what a time!
Now with great expectation we wait to receive according to His Word.
Today, spend some time with the King. Get to know Him more intimately. Let him speak to you, and then obey. It will cost you, but only time. Time with the King there is no better way to start your day.
Lift up your heads, O you gates! And be lifted up you everlasting doors! And the king of Glory shall come in. Who is the King of Glory? The Lord strong and mighty, the Lord mighty in battle. Lift up your heads, O you gates, Lift up you everlasting doors! And the King of glory shall come in. Who is the King of Glory? The Lord of hosts, he is the king of Glory. Psalm 24: 7-10
