People of God let us be in constant prayer: A provincial official says another 300 people have been confirmed dead on Samar Island in the central Philippines in the onslaught of a super typhoon.
That’s in addition to 10,000 people believed to have died in Tacloban city on Leyte Island, just across Samar.
Let us dedicate this day, for a day of prayer for the people of the Philippines.

I’ve been blessed to have contact with either the people directly or their families here in the states of several friends there. Such sweet people. Great ministries there. Praying that many lives will be touched for God’s glory though this tragic event.
I have been touch with friends in Samar and Bohol. All are safe, although many of them have lost their homes and most of their possessions. (Bohol was also hit three weeks about by a 7.2 magnitude earthquake). I am so grateful that they are safe – praise God!
Yet, there are those who live in Leyte — I’ve had no contact with them at all. The brother of Pastor Ramil Impang of Ubay, Bohol, has an outreach church in Tacloban (the hardest hit city on Leyte) — no one has heard from him, so Pastor Ramil is preparing to travel to Tacloban to find out his status.
Your prayers for all of these people would be greatly appreciated.
I am setting up a fund for recovery efforts for the people of Bohol, and especially for the children. My ministry is tied directly to supporting the educational needs of the children of Bohol, Philppines. You can read more about my ministry there by going to http://www.EducateBohol.org I hope to return there in January 2014 (I am currently in Rio Rancho) and prepare for outreach to the children Bohol.
Thank you for your prayers.
We are praying constantly for all, in Jesus name Amen
A new storm is on the way, hitting roughly in the same area of the Philippines. It won’t be as powerful, but they really don’t need more rain and wind at this time.
Scott, thanks for the updates, as we pray over this extreme tragedy. God Bless you.
Many lives touched by gods glory?.. what a joke!.. I bet there was thousands of the soon to be dead praying for gods mercy as they were ignored.. Looks like the supernatural man in the sky is either lazy or incompetent
We are in constant prayer for the people of the Philippines and rescue workers and we pray for you also Peter.
