Comfort in Prayer

Philippians 4:6-7 (NKJV): Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

another reason that we see prayer works is because it brings peace. We see that we have no need for anxiety for our provisions because God will take care of it.it is a great thing to know that we have help in our times of needs.

Psalm 121;!-2 (NKJV): I will lift up my eyes to the hills From whence comes my help? My help comes from the Lord, Who made heaven and earth.

Even the Psalmist here knew that God would bring help for him. He looked up to see where the help would come from. If we think about it, that is a good idea for us to do. Need Help? Look up.

Matthew 6:25-34 (NKJV): “Therefore I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food and the body more than clothing? 26 Look at the birds of the air, for they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they? 27 Which of you by worrying can add one cubit to his stature? 28 “So why do you worry about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin; 29 and yet I say to you that even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. 30 Now if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will He not much more clothe you, O you of little faith? 31 “Therefore do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ 32 For after all these things the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. 33 But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. 34 Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.

Public Domain CC0Even Jesus told us that we should not worry. Take our requests to Him. He said that we are more than all creation, so, that means we will be cared for.

The most important thing about Prayer is that we should seek to change with it. Are you praying often? If not, and you need help to be encouraged to do so, let me know. Prayer is a very important part of our lives.

Call out to Him and seek his Love and Forgiveness. It really is as hard or easy as you make it.

We should look to Him daily to seek a relationship with Him. I want to encourage you to seek Him today, if you haven’t already. If you need help, have questions or need direction in this regard, please, feel free to let me know.
