I ask for patience today.
Good day to you dear readers of FGGAM! I hope this letter finds you well in Christ! And, thank God we have Grace in the Name of our Savior & Lord Jesus, the Christ, the Son of the Living God to get through all things well!
And, if you don’t know Jesus as your HOPE yet; as your personal Savior, I pray the Holy Spirit draws your heart to believe; and I encourage you to confess to God when you do believe; and ask Jesus to be the Lord of your heart, mind and life.
We have two minds: Our human mind; and when our spirit of life is made new in Christ, we have the Mind of Christ to choose to abide in. The Holy Spirit helps us discern the two in order that we can choose to follow the Mind of God for success in all things.
The Spirit of the Lord has stirring in my mind of Christ that God is a God of Unity / not Division.
I ask for Patience today.
How Can We Be Sure We Will Be Successful? Will you consider the answer is to ask God and follow His Direction; not willing to waiver in our opinions from the Mind of Christ?
Since yesterday, I have had one particular verse on my mind; about what God’s Word says about Common Sense, “Common sense and success belong to me. Insight and strength are mine (Proverbs 8:14, NLT).” With all the opinions floating around out there; (and we all have one), but there is only one right; and “Only God Knows” is the most powerful knowledge we can seek in this hurting world that will truly make a difference.

My goal is not to offend, but ask you to consider. Then you can make up your mind; and I will not be mad at you if you disagree.
Laws were given by Moses to impute responsibility on to us / not the freedom from God to make up rules that we hope will work, but rather to understand, we all need Jesus. God’s plan then, imputed all to Jesus. Amendments happen to laws / but can you say anything really changes for the better?
Only Jesus sets the standard of good moral behavior that is pleasing to God; and good for mankind.
Again, I ask for Patience; and to consider …
Before we get into the devotion of the day, would you consider to think about a couple of things?
- Quote: “If the purchase age is 18 for beer and 21 for wine or spirits, as was the case in several states, the age in the table will read as “18“, not “21“.
- Yet, does this law prevent an underage person from obtaining the substance if they make up their mind to get it some other way?
- Isn’t it a heart issue to obey the law / or break the law, but the law really only governs (for our own good) those who will be willing to be obedient to the law? And, we all miss the mark of all the law somewhere in God’s eyes; we all need Grace through Christ Jesus.
- Isn’t Rebellion a heart issue?
- Isn’t it a personal Honesty in our heart to the Truth of Christ that keeps us in the right path of Forgiveness and good Choices?
“We are born with 5 senses -Touch, Taste, Sight, Smell and Hearing. But successful people have a Sixth Sense – Common Sense. Common Sense is the abililty to see things as they are; and do them as they are ought to be done (Quote: March 21, 2015 What is the difference btw wisdom & common sense?).”
Yesterday’s Hope in Today Ministries’ Bible Study Devotion was on “Who is Wisdom?,” and includes Proverbs Chapter 8. Will you allow some personal time for God to encourage you & prepare your mind in Wisdom; as we lead into Today’s Daily Bible Devotion & To God be the Glory, to learn how to apply God’s Word to our life Today?
Proverbs 8: Wisdom Calls for a Hearing.
“My advice is wholesome. There is nothing devious or crooked in it; Common sense and success belong to me. Insight and strength are mine (Proverbs 8:Verses 8, 14, NLT).”
As we increase our understanding from God, we can praise God that IT is written TO know TO ask FOR & discern that “True Wisdom Comes from God / Two Kinds of Wisdom (James 3:13-18 NLT / NIV).”

I chose these pictures TODAY because, God still comforts us & HE knows it takes courage to trust God and Strength in Christ to live according to the INTEGRITY of God’s commands. To GO WITH God, requires growing faith to please God, whom knows the heart of every matter.
As protective bark is part of a tree, so are we protected with God, when Christ lives in our heart.
We need The Written & Living Word! Thank you Jesus, The Holy Spirit seals our life, & guides our steps in the Presence of God.
Many trees have chemicals within their bark, which protect against fungal and insect attack. Like understanding & Wisdom protect our Heart from straying from God.
As God spoke to Joshua, so God will give charge to us. The blessing we have in Today, because of the DEATH, BURIAL & RESURRECTION of Jesus, is that God dwells IN us thru Jesus Christ, our Savior & Lord &The Holy Spirit guides & dwells within us!
God FOR, WITH & IN us!
Now how can this History lesson apply to our life Today?
Let’s read the Written Word as commanded to Moses & then passed on to Joshua:
The Lord’s Charge to Joshua!
“After the death of Moses the Lord ’s servant, the Lord spoke to Joshua son of Nun, Moses’ assistant. He said, “Moses my servant is dead. Therefore, the time has come for you to lead these people, the Israelites, across the Jordan River into the land I am giving them.
No one will be able to stand against you as long as you live. For I will be with you as I was with Moses.
I will not fail you or abandon you.
“Be strong and courageous, for you are the one who will lead these people to possess all the land I swore to their ancestors I would give them.
Be strong and very courageous.
BE CAREFUL TO OBEY ALL THE INSTRUCTIONS Moses gave you. DO NOT DEVIATE FROM THEM, TURNING either TO the right OR TO the left.
THEN YOU WILL BE SUCCESSFUL IN eveRything YOU DO.
THEN YOU WILL BE SUCCESSFUL IN eveRything YOU DO.
STUDY THIS BOOK OF INSTRUCTION CONTINUALLY. Meditate on it day AND night SO you will BE SURE TO obey eveRything WRITTEN IN it.
ONLY THEN WILL YOU PROSPER AND SUCCEED IN ALL YOU DO.
ONLY THEN

This is my command—BE STRONG AND COURAGEOUS! Do NOT BE afraid OR discouraged.
FOR the Lord your GOD IS WITH you WHEREVER you GO.”
