Hello from NC again. Friends, can I be transparent?  It was a difficult day full of struggles.  Have you ever been ‘primed’ to meet “face to face” with struggles -that you really wanted to avoid?  I woke up that way.  And, I should know better, but all it was, was a challenge to grow my faith … in my personal insight, “but I” … .

“How fast do we want the struggle to end?”

 

Sometimes, this life (in this broken world) positions us to face things out of our control; or do we just blindly walk into these struggles; and stay there for much too long?  This is why I share.  … In Christ, we can choose, “How fast do we want the struggle to end?”   I’ll do you a favor and skip my drama, because this is for you’ and me too, but here, this is for you.  Sometimes, you may have your own struggles to deal with?
Yet, I can share my lessons learned; like if I had a “Do-Over” Day.
I hope this is a blessing to shed some light on the bumpy edges; that could be a bit more smooth in the travel for us all; if we will choose to choose a better way in Christ.
“But I” ~ Anytime, we begin a sentence with “but I” we should recognize a “mis-alignment” with The Christ!  The Scripture revelation that comes to me at the end of this long day is about Selfish Ambition (James 3:16)!  All day LONG & I thought my issue was that I was miserably getting my “F -failing grade” in Patience today.  But, I realized at this very moment that Self-Control / Selfish Ambition was at bat in this war today!
I just wanted get some bills paid; and gain understanding of the bills, BUT … it was not going to happen in this government ruled world today.  … “BUT I” …was the problem, not the rules / nor the government / nor the insurance company!
LOVE is the POWER in the WAY to choose a Better Way!

1 Corinthians, 13:4-8

4 Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5 It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6 Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7 It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.  8 Love never fails. 

My fruit was not active today!
The Fruit of the Spirit is after all:

Galatians 5:22-23 English Standard Version (ESV)

22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law.

and to remember that,

 

James 3:16 (NIV) 

For where you have envy and selfish ambition, there you find disorder and every evil practice.

Philippians 2:3-5 (ESV)

3 Do nothing from selfish ambition or conceit, but in humility count others more significant than yourselves. 4 Let each of you look not only to his own interests, but also to the interests of others. 5 Have this mind among yourselves, which is yours in Christ Jesus,

End of the day thought:  … nothing would have bothered me so much … and I would have been able to have walked away from certain drives to accomplishment … IF ONLY I would have remembered what selfish ambition looked like in the middle of feeling so beaten down by all the wrong things in this world!

 

God loves you my friend!  And, yes God has mercy on us!  I would have been a terrible Savior!  BUT GOD!  See the difference?  BUT GOD loved us so much that HE gave us JESUS, SO THAT we would not perish, but have ever lasting life … and Life to the Full!

“But God” is so much more powerful than “But I” !

Wow! What a thunder that must have been when the Holy Spirit burst into the world from Heaven Sent after Jesus arrived!

The Veil of separation had been already been ripped and torn (Mat 27:51)! For forty days, the Resurrected Jesus appeared to the apostles from time to time, and he proved to them in many ways that he was actually alive. And he talked to them about the Kingdom of God.

Now the Holy Spirit has come!
Acts Chapters 1:3; 2:2-4 NLT

When you hear a message that goes right to the heart / core of a miraculous understanding that makes you wonder, how we will respond matters!

People will either be drawn to LIGHT; or repelled by LIGHT.

EVERYONE CAME RUNNING, AND THEY WERE bewildered TO HEAR their own languages BEING SPOKEN BY THE BELIEVERS … ABOUT the wonderful things God has done!”

They stood there amazed and perplexed.

“What can this mean?” THEY ASKED EACH OTHER.

BUT OTHERS in the crowd ridiculed them, saying, “They’re just drunk, that’s all!”
Acts of the Apostles 2:6‭, ‬11‭-‬13 NLT

Logically, a drunken person is not MORE enabled in comprehensive communication. Why did some choose not to see the miracle?

THEN PETER STEPPED FORWARD WITH The eleven other apostles AND SHOUTED to the crowd, “Listen carefully, all of you …!

MAKE NO MISTAKE ABOUT THIS.
Acts of the Apostles 2:14 NLT

These people are NOT drunk, AS SOME of you are ASSUMING. Nine o’clock in the morning is much too early for that.

How would you have responded?

Even Today, THIS is a good day TODAY to Respond to the drawing of the Holy Spirit; to repent & confess Christ Jesus as your personal Savior & Lord.

Choosing your destination BEFORE AFTER you die, thru Christ, you live!

Even today, Is your journey a rocky ride? Or a smooth ride?

Yes, Jesus told us there would be troubles that come TO us in this broken world & He also told us the mysteries in Do not LET your heart be troubled!

Troubles come AT us, BUT we have a choice NOT to LET them come IN us!

God For, WITH & IN us!

Troubles come…

But everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.’
Acts of the Apostles 2:15‭, ‬19‭-‬19‭, ‬21 NLT

Troubles are more a challenge to grow in our faith ... It is not easy, but in the end the grace of God we discover is worth experiencing God in the midst. By Grace, I have discovered Jesus is Peace and He is my Joy and Wisdom from Heaven. God is our Provider and Healer and Creator, who is our help and shield over all things. By grace, I have experienced a nearness to God through my faith in His Son! We are well forgiven by God; and well blessed when we know and believe the love that God has for us. To say, "all is well with my soul" is a powerful knowledge to understand and experience. I sense God's desire for you to know His love for you and how deep His love for you is that He has SO loved you; God gave you His Son. God loves you right now just as you are! There is so much to learn! I believe that as we learn from God, we are God’s gift to each other. It is all God’s story –and for His glory; and God has SO loved us. I love to paint the vision that God has given me about a Father’s love –that God wants you to dream again and visualize His love for you! In God’s eyes, there’s more to life than we see; and in a world that sometimes misrepresents and misunderstands God and love; God wants you to have the courage to dream His dream and see His vision of a Father’s love for you! Many years ago, I prayed to God, “How can I tell a million people what I know about Your Son?” God showed me I had a gift of a ministry about God's Love; and He called it Hope in Today! I write to please God and I write to encourage you; and I write to spend quiet time with God. All because of this love that God has first shown me!
