We are in prayer for rain and the safety of all! The ABQ Journal is reporting this morning:

By Monday, 11 days after the 416 fire began, it had burned through 22,100 acres of mostly San Juan National Forest land.

More than 900 people are fighting the fire, which has thus far resulted in the evacuation of 2,162 homes, though none of them was reported to have burned

ABQ Journal Report

The Buzzard Fire in Catron County New Mexico has burned over 41,000 acres. Also in New Mexico, the Ute Park Fire has burned almost 37,000 acres. Please pray for rain and the safety of all.

We are getting closer to 100,000 acres burned by wildfires in New Mexico this year.

The drought in New Mexico and Colorado breaks our hearts.
