The Iranian Armed Forces Aviation Industries Organization in Tehran, one of the few Aviation organizations on the industrialized world with no significant representation at this week’s massive air show in Dubai, displayed what it claimed to be a domestically built drone with a range of more than 2,000 km on Monday. Dubbed the “Fotros” it has not been seen flying yet and officials offered no proof of their claims to its abilities. Israeli analysts cautioned that although Iranian officials routinely exaggerate the abilities of their technology, the claims can’t be dismissed outright.
