A lot of times, we receive from The Lord but we don’t use what He Provides wisely. We often invest foolishly or we use it for our benefit to make us feel good. In fact, there are some that expect, always to receive from The Lord, stuff that will be for their own benefit. We need to be careful that we don’t set these expectations on Him thinking He’s there for our own purposes. In fact, we should be doing what we can to Please Him.
Let’s ask Him for Help in this area today…
Lord, You have said for us to consider our ways. Because we have sown much, and bring in little; We eat, but do not have enough; We drink, but we are not filled with drink; We clothe ourselves, but no one is warm; And he who earns wages, Earns wages to put into a bag with holes.”
We experience all of this because we are not wise with what You have Provided. (Taken From Haggai 1:5-6)
Lord, first we ask for forgiveness in regards to always expecting You to please our every desire. We know You Provide our of Your Love but Your Hope is that not only we recognize that You are The One Who Provides, but that we use it to help others.
We ask for Your Help to see how we are to use the stuff You give. We ask for Your Help to use it all wisely. We desire to continuously please You in all of our actions.
We pray in Jesus Name, Amen
It starts with Our Relationship with Jesus. If you don’t have a Relationship with Him or you need to rekindle that Relationship, do it now. Call out to Him and seek his Love and Forgiveness. It really is as hard or easy as you make it.
We should look to Him daily to seek a relationship with Him. I want to encourage you to seek Him today, if you haven’t already. If you need help, have questions or need direction in this regard, please, feel free to let me know.
