This is the Way

Isaiah 30:18,21 But the LORD still waits for you to come to Him so He can show you His love and compassion. For the LORD is a faithful God. Blessed are those who wait for Him to help them. And you will hear a voice say, “This is the way; turn around and walk here.” (NLT)

I headed out to my grandson Benny’s football game this morning to an area I am unfamiliar with. I had my GPS on and the lady was telling me where to go. It was a very rural area and I said to the Lord, “Abba, I am totally depending on this GPS to get me to my destination.”

I began to think on how it’s also this way as we trust Him and depend on His guidance and counsel. I count on Him because I know that I know that He will always help me if I ask Him to.

Psalm 116:1-2 I love the LORD because He hears and answers my prayers. Because He bends down and listens, I will pray as long as I have breath! (NLT)

Psalm 130:5 I am counting on the LORD; yes, I am counting on Him. I have put my hope in His word. (NLT)

Miss Zora has begun to need a wheelchair sometimes. I got it out to look it over and I had to practically stand on the brakes to make them go down. Unlocking them was even worse. I said, “Lord, I don’t know how to fix this, would you please help me?” Suddenly, I knew exactly what to do…loosen a couple of nuts and put WD-40 on the area. Works great and even Miss Zora can operate the brakes now and she’s 93!

There is a particular thing I keep thinking I’ve blown. It is something that is super important. I was talking with someone about it and he said, “I don’t think there is such a thing as blowing it with God.” He shared an example of a similar situation is his life.

That was a word from the Lord to me. The next time, He told me, “If you keep trying to make it happen it won’t and you are hindering timing. Trust Me. Is anything too hard for Me?! I’ve got this.”

Today, beloved ones, I just want to tell you, “He’s got this, whatever that may be. Let it go and let Him work it all together. Ask Him anything. He is ready to help. Listen for His still, small voice and Him through others. He loves you and He WILL work all things out for you.”

1 Kings 19:11-12 And he said, Go forth, and stand upon the mount before the LORD. And, behold, the LORD passed by, and a great and strong wind rent the mountains, and brake in pieces the rocks before the LORD; but the LORD was not in the wind: and after the wind an earthquake; but the LORD was not in the earthquake: And after the earthquake a fire; but the LORD was not in the fire: and after the fire a still small voice. (KJV)

Practice listening for His still small voice. He is just waiting for you to come to Him so He can help you. Be blessed beloved ones.
