You Promised Us, Oh God…
Good morning beautiful people, good morning. I was thinking this early morning how many times we let our emotions dictate to us. That’s an easy way to lose the battle. Our feelings are so fickle, they change quite quickly.

Sometimes we let how we feel or what we think overtake the promises of God. At the end of the day, it doesn’t really matter what our emotions say, it is what does God’s Word say. Tomorrow we may feel differently, but God’s Word never changes. It is the same yesterday, today and forever. Jesus is the same yesterday, today and forever. (Hebrews 13:8) It is a great assurance that we can rest in His promises, knowing that He has a providential plan for our lives. Let’s Pray:
Father, your eyes had seen our unformed substance; and in your book were written all the days that were ordained for us, when as yet there was not one of them. (Psalm 139:16) Your promises to us is where we put all our hope. For in you, oh God, we live and move and have our being. (Acts 17:28).
As we believe your promises, we will receive accordingly. Forgive us God, when we were filled full of doubt, fear and unbelief. Thank you for the grace to trust you more. You are not a God that you should lie. (Numbers 23:19)
We declare the Word of our Lord God over our lives today. His promises are true and forever settled. We believe! Amen.
