I did not watch the debate……I went to bed early. I am up at about 3am everyday to report to you here at FGGAM. I am very tired of debates like this..I am wore out by the politics of today..there is no substance, just accusations…….meanwhile our state and nation suffer…..so much anger…..so much hate…..God is not in this type of behavior. America is acting so very immature, many Christians also are acting immature in their faith. We find ourselves in the midst of great turmoil here in America.
Thomas a’ Kempis said, “When Jesus is near, all is well and nothing seems difficult. When He is absent, all is hard.” In my mind, Jesus is absent from the political process in America.
I am physically ill at the state of our Nation.
So many worship politicians like they are God, only if they had that passion for our Lord Jesus Christ and His Word and Ways and not the ways of politics.
I will tell you this that nothing is going to change in America until it repents of its sins and fully worships and praises God, and seeks the face of Jesus and we hold daily prayer meetings in seeking God’s Will for America.
Unless this happens, things will get worse. I have stated for years that Jesus is the answer, the only answer, politics is not. We are a very divided, angry, and hateful nation at this point.
I once saw a bumper sticker that said, Jesus is not a Republican or Democrat! AMEN!
I am not out to be popular, I will never be, I do not answer to a political party or a Clique, I answer only to God.
Why can’t people see that there is not a political solution to the situation we are in?

I am so disappointed in all these political ads, all these attack ads. I’m so sour on politics. Jesus is the answer not a politics, it’s an embarrassment what our political system has turned into from all sides Republicans and Democrats all sides are guilty. What is all this teaching our children? It is not good, my stomach is so sour. If politics could solve our problems they would have been solved long ago. Both parties have failed us. Jesus is the only answer. If these folks know Jesus they would stop dirty politics. Mudslinging is at an all-time high here in New Mexico and across America. There is no content, just “nothing noise” and mudslinging…
What is gained by always bad mouthing people? How does that benefit the American people?
I started in radio news in 1978 at the Minnesota State News Network. I have covered so many elections during that time at various radio stations, when I worked as a News Director or Station Manager. I am sad to say that I have never seen the Political system in America in such bad shape. There is no future in what we have right now. I have grandchildren who will inherit this mess, it breaks my heart what we have allowed America to become.
We used to call what is going on in Washington D.C. “gridlock”…it will only end when they all follow Jesus and God’s Word and ways…..Politics in America is so far off the track…I don’t know if it can get back on the track!
The way most these folks speak to us through their political ads, they must think we are the dumbest people on earth.
