When we are talking to others who may not be believers, sometimes, if not a lot, we seem to blunder what we say. Why? It may be that we forget that we are talking to someone who is not a believer.
Sometimes when we are encouraging others who are believers, we tend to say things that are harsh. This, sometimes, pushes them away from hearing more. Why? It could be that they are not ready to hear what we have to say.
Sometimes when we speak to others, we don’t say what needs to be said. Why? It could be that we are afraid to tell them what they need to hear. This could hinder them from growing.
It is best to receive proper counsel from someone who is wise. It is better to pray before we share something with others that could be something that pushes them away. It is better that if we are prompted to by God, that we should say what He puts on our hearts. Whatever it is, we just need to be sure it is pure, and with Grace that we do it.
Lord, we want to be in wisdom toward those who are outside. We want to redeem the time that we properly handle a situation You put in front of us. Our speech always needs to be filled with grace and seasoned with salt. This we know we can receive from You. This way we know how we ought to answer each one. (Taken From Colossians 4:5-6)
Thank You Lord. In Jesus Name, Amen
If we are to please God, we need to allow The Holy Spirit to set us apart. We need to pursue a sinless life. We are to seek Righteousness. How do we do it? Through prayer, study, fellowship, being willing to be corrected/accountability, discipleship, and service.
It starts with Our Relationship with Jesus. If you don’t have a Relationship with Him or you need to rekindle that Relationship, do it now. Call out to Him and seek his Love and Forgiveness. It really is as hard or easy as you make it.
We should look to Him daily to seek a relationship with Him. I want to encourage you to seek Him today, if you haven’t already. If you need help, have questions or need direction in this regard, please, feel free to let me know.
Maybe today you are struggling with something. Maybe you may have found yourself not as close to The Lord as you thought. We would like to help you in this through prayer and guidance.
