My heart aches at another corruption trial in our state! This time it is former New Mexico Taxation and Revenue Secretary Demesia Padilla. The former tax agency chief under Republican Governor Susana Martinez, could face up to 16 years if found guilty. This just break my heart! Padilla was one of Governor Martinez’s first Cabinet appointees.
We are praying over this entire situation. We are praying for the end of corruption in state government.
And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people. Ephesians 6:18
We need Godly role models for our youth!
This problem of corruption is a problem in the Republican and Democrat Parties.
