The mountain of me must bow its knee
In order to see
My Lord and Savior came to set men free
His plan for us is to soar
The mountain of me is to be no more
His plan is as plain as could be
He came and died to set men free
As the mountain come tumbling, tumbling down
we will experience freedom all around
Free to fly and free to soar
the mountain of me to be never more
It is all about choice and desires to see
our heavenly hosts and great victory
over self and the enemy
Remembering why He died for me
keeps us focused on what’s to be
We were created to fly and be free
And bow down to this self, this self-called Me
In humble adoration of Jesus who died
it is not a thoughtless careless ride.
He is preparing us to be His spotless bride
So you “see”, you see it is not about you
and not about me.
It is why the walls must fall to the ground, flat as can be
Freedom is not free, it came at a very high price
not to mention a price paid quite willingly
Bow that knee of the mountain of me-
because I desire you come soar with me
Onward and upward you will experience the fruits
and rewards and great Victory.
Shout down those walls that self created in me
come fly today on bended knee.
Forever more to be free, yes be free
It is really fairly simple you see
for only free souls, will set others free
to also enjoy the demise of the mountain of me
