Dear Friends,
Welcome Jesus as the Air that fills your home; the Presence of Peace that is over all things. Unconditional things, that can try to interfere with your thankful heart; if you entertain it; and if you LET it. Is your heart prepared and ready and able to pour out thanksgiving to God; and is this something Jesus does for us? Or, rather something God has commanded us to do for Him, for others & for ourselves. Jesus said, Peace I leave WITH you; my peace I GIVE you. DO NOT LET your hearts be troubled & do not be afraid.
Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.”
John 14:27 New International Version
If it is possible on your part, live at peace with everyone (Romans 12:18)
Dewey asked me if I could do a Thanksgiving Day Post. My thoughts were I don’t think I am the person to do this; but at the same time, perhaps this is exactly what someone needs to hear and be unconditionally encouraged in.
Let us begin with prayer, Father, we love you and adore you and thank you for all your lovingkindness toward us; that you have rained on our heart and our life, that we can come to know you. Far beyond believing, Lord Jesus, thank you that we can know you; and by knowing you, we can also know the Father! Our God is not to be taken lightly! Higher than a boss, more authority than a Principle! Stronger than the highest of those who serve and protect! God, you are our God! We come to you to Day Thankful!
Grateful goes beyond the table; all the way to the cross that Jesus both carried and allowed Himself to be nailed on! I have no room for me in the light of what Jesus has done for me! … And yet, we feel all kinds of stuff … But yet; and yes there is always a BUT with God when it comes to how we focus; on self? or on God. Lord Jesus, thank you for allowing us to have alone time, family time, busy time, quiet time & to experience the Peace you left for us in all times; and the Peace you give to us; we receive! Jesus, the JOY you bring to our heart is almost unexplained, but powerful to be experienced!
Peace Jesus has left for us; Peace Jesus has given to us is of no use, unless we learn to apply the gift Jesus gives to us in all things that come against us.
When we receive this, we will never be the same!
Grateful goes beyond the table; and all the way to the (each) Jesus filled heart that overflows Christ’s Joy, like rivers of Grace (the Spirit of the Living God), by the Grace God, the Father Alone gives Peace!
Let Jesus Fill Your Heart With Happy Thanksgiving
Friends, if I am really honest, I don’t like traditions anymore, and actually do my best to keep my life free from the addiction of the traditions. When stress shows up, Let Jesus step up! Perhaps this is for you? Traditions give little room for change; unless you make the change to follow The Peace Jesus Gives. What happens when someone goes on to Heaven? What happens when family moves away? What happens in any day of Thanksgiving IF the Turkey doesn’t make it to the table? (True Story, last weekend: Our Turkey missed dinner LOL). And, What happens if dinner is cold? What happens if you got some bad news? Let the Lord lift your eyes up off of the dinner table and family traditions and set your focus on Christ Jesus, Lord and Savior of all who will come to believe; and believing on Jesus; we are made to be the Family of God.
Jesus is worthy! This is how love is made; and sharing is part of being a family and it all goes back to God! God is love!
Grateful is Authentic; there is no imitation for Peace; the Peace Jesus leaves and gives is Authentic!
The food can be good enough, but the Peace Jesus leaves for us is Perfect Peace. This is the place where a Happy Heart can be found; and where a happy heart is with Christ in Jesus Name in all things, Thanksgiving will be noticeable; because grateful is hard to hide.
God has some Scriptures to share with you, as Christ in me encourages the air that you breath … to be of that air that is of The Peace in Christ & that is beyond all you see, both, in and through, the good and difficult times we share; both together and alone.
If you need help finding God’s Word to you, please respond; and look around FGGAM for those who have filled in the gap of how far God allows me to go; according to my Faith, God will have something here for you.
If God puts it on your heart to ask for help finding a scripture; or prayer need, please respond with a grateful heart and show God how grateful you are by seeking His Word in the way Jesus guides your heart to ask for help from those who love God.
I am saying, you are NOT alone! God has not left you; nor has God forsaken you. Call on His Name, Jesus; and respond to God by seeking the gifts Jesus left for you to receive.
Peace, Joy, Happiness, Gratefulness, Contentment in Him … is far beyond our human comprehension, but yet, can be understood in a relationship that when we choose to put God in 1st place!
I must decrease, so that Christ in me will increase…
It’s a time of the year that sets a focus on what should be cherished DAILY all year in our heart.
It’s a time of the year that sets a focus on what should be cherished DAILY all year in our heart. Let me explain. I learned long ago, if someone makes it to dinner, they are where they are supposed to be; and if not, we can be sure that they are still where they are supposed to be. Yet, near in our heart, spiritually close – regardless the physical presence; love is near to all who love. God is LOVE! … and God is spirit. You believe in electric; don’t you? Believe also in the Living God! Yes, you can believe; and when you receive this, you will never be the same!
I am closer to my dad in Heaven than I could ever be State – to – State alone; because love is spiritual; and grateful lives in a grateful heart. I am closer to my mother and brother in heart; than if I live next door, that I humanly desire, but spiritually focus higher.
What I am encouraging you in today, is that no matter the day; no matter the circumstance, Jesus will heal a heart, repair damage to a heart, fill a heart, restore a heart, comfort a heart, rejoice in a heart & be grateful in a heart.
Can Jesus be grateful?
Can Jesus be grateful? I believe so. I truly believe that Jesus is grateful to God for saving us. I truly believe Jesus is satisfied with His Sacrifice for us!!! Soak that in… Did the Lord just say that to me to write to us all? And, I truly believe that Jesus is blessed, when we appreciate His gift of Life and come in to His Heart of Gratitude.
Once, at a homeless shelter, I was taught, Karen, do you have a coat? Well sure, I have many coats of different layers. Where is your coat? I didn’t want to wear it. How can you show God how grateful you are for the coat God has provided, if you don’t wear your coat on this rainy and cold day?
Ponder on that for about 2 years! Friends, look around you at the dinner table, on the streets, in the waiting room and on the highways… What are people going through that we don’t understand, but God does? How can you show God how grateful you are to Jesus; and for all God’s Provisions that are set before us to choose?
No matter what your situation, location or circumstance, Reach for Higher!
Can you show God how grateful you are for Jesus and God’s lovingkindness toward you, by being patient a little while longer? … And, friends, we can pray for a method to do what God moves our heart to do; and be grateful that when we lack in Wisdom, In Christ Jesus, we can ask God for His Thoughts & Method to process our heart all the way to Praise & Thanksgiving!
process our heart all the way to Praise & Thanksgiving!
Will you show God you are grateful; and ask God for Wisdom? Will you sacrifice what you feel like, and wear your coat anyway, when those around you have none to wear? Yes, GIVE! Give your coat as God says give! But don’t underestimate the power of showing God how grateful you are for the coat God has provided for you.
Don’t we know that God loves us too?
In closing, Lord, bless this person reading this Today with the comforts that are in your Perfect Love. Some reading will be surrounded by family, and laughter, but others will experience a need for you in a different way. Let us all remember that this day is Today a day to remember, how grateful we are for YOU, Jesus, our Lord and Savior.
In Christ & Jesus Name I pray, God knows your thoughts; and God looks at your heart; God knows your whereabouts; and the condition of your surroundings. Jesus loves you. And that is that!
Jesus loves you. And, yes, I am writing to you. Jesus loves you.
Love in Christ,
