Praise the Lord!

Praise God in His sanctuary; Do you have a place set up where you spend time with Him in private? Do you think this is only referring to church? I want to encourage you to find a place that you can spend some quiet time with Him uninterrupted.

Praise Him in His mighty firmament! Of course this will be easier when we are in Heaven. When you Praise Him, act like He is sitting there with you in the room. Don’t you ever wonder what it’ll be like when we are with Him face to face? This may help us to prepare for that day.

Praise Him for His mighty acts; Do you look at the things He does for you on a daily basis? Are you aware of how much He gives us? If this is hard for you to do, start writing stuff that you can give Him Praise for, even if they are minute things.

Praise Him according to His excellent greatness! We should remember that we are not as Great nor as Powerful as He is. When He acts in our lives, we need to give Him the Honor.

Praise Him with the sound of the trumpet; Praise Him with the lute and harp! Praise Him with the timbrel and dance; Praise Him with stringed instruments and flutes! Praise Him with loud cymbals; Praise Him with clashing cymbals! Some may feel that they are not talented in any instrument. They may feel inadequate or even intimidated in trying. Someone just recently was mentioning that even though they may not play very well, if at all, that they will still use an instrument in private, to bring Praises to Him. Our Lord is not worried about how we sound, He loves it when we rejoice, dance, sing, and play instruments in His Honor. Some of the greatest singers and musicians made terrible noises when they started. What matters to Him the most, is if it comes from your heart to Him.

Let everything that has breath praise the Lord. Praise the Lord! Can you imagine what Heaven will be like when everyone is singing Praises to Him? Can you imagine if we were like one voice going up to Him. It must be a glorious thing for Him to see His People sign and shout Praises to Him because they see His Love.

Although,  we need Jesus to bring us back into A Relationship with God The Father, this Psalm lays a foundation of how we should be walking in our Faith walks.
If we are to please God, we need to allow The Holy Spirit to set us apart. We need to pursue a sinless life. We are to seek Righteousness. How do we do it? Through prayer, study, fellowship, being willing to be corrected/accountability, discipleship, and service.

It starts with Our Relationship with Jesus. If you don’t have a Relationship with Him or you need to rekindle that Relationship, do it now. Call out to Him and seek his Love and Forgiveness. It really is as hard or easy as you make it.

We should look to Him daily to seek a relationship with Him. I want to encourage you to seek Him today, if you haven’t already. If you need help, have questions or need direction in this regard, please, feel free to let me know.

Maybe today you are struggling with something. Maybe you may have found yourself not as close to The Lord as you thought. We would like to help you in this through prayer and guidance.
