Who Influences Your Life Most? Jesus Teach us, By Karen Rowe
This morning the Lord woke me; and He reminded me that I would rather Jesus have more influence over my child’s life, than the world has.
As I sit here this morning aligning my thoughts to this very thing for my busy day, this should be a personal goal everyday; regardless of our age, or position in this life! JESUS should be the influence!
As I was cooking breakfast the thought came to me that I noticed how much the world CAN have control over our family life & our Christian life IF we were without Wisdom from Heaven.
I could name a few ways, but let’s use our time to focus on Jesus teachings, because isn’t that how Jesus taught us to respond to all things?
Teach us to realize the brevity of life, SO THAT we may grow in wisdom.
Psalms 90:12 NLT
Time may be the most valuable gift of this life that God gives us time to consider our gift of time, but it is as a Vapor. And, ultimately, as much as we would like to emotionally fight time, this is God’s mercy too.
Time, I must admit requires spiritual balance. I guard my time to be the Lord’s time; & need to ask for discernment to be in step with God & abide in Him at all times. Without prayer I fail. With prayer, we still need minute by minute prayerful discernment of God’s Perfect Time & day by day as we roll along in our gift of Today.

Are we rejoicing in it (Today). MANY times, this means sacrifice, when I would rather be ____. Yet, God reveals the greater blessing of abiding in His perfect steps & time; even when only our faith knows those steps are His!

What does “brevity of life” mean?
BREVITY is a point made quickly and clearly; DEFINED as the quality of being brief.
In the big scene of LIFE, Jesus should always be the higher focus & have Ultimate influence over how we roll through this life.
Q) What does this life look like?
A) JESUS is the Perfect Teacher!
We CAN get understanding FROM Jesus to apply Wisdom to our every Gift of Today.
- What is God’s Purpose?
- Why is it important to realize “the brevity of life”?
We have a Teacher! His Name is Jesus! We have a Church – (each other In Christ) …Where 2 or 3 In the Spirit of Christ Jesus are gathered together in Jesus Name! And, being Baptized in the Holy Spirit of Jesus, we have a Bible, so Let us Learn from Jesus to Pray; and Trust to Obey.
SO TEACH US TO NUMBER OUR DAYS, THAT WE MAY APPLY OUR HEARTS UNTO WISDOM.

Final Thoughts …
IF YOU ARE WONDERING IF THERE IS HOPE FOR YOU? THEN, THE ANSWER IS YES! THIS MESSAGE IS FOR YOU, BECAUSE YOU ARE SEEKING TO LIVE IN THE LIGHT OF JESUS, WHO IS THE CHRIST, THE SON OF THE LIVING GOD!
In Closing, there is so much here, yet the final thought the Spirit of the Lord is impressing on my heart of Jesus to say is this … Forgiveness leaves no room in our heart for revenge / nor ill-thoughts toward that person, because something Miraculous happens in Christ! Grace floods our heart!!! Forgiveness comes in us like a flood of living warm oil that frees a soul to let go of any control that UNforgiveness can have over us, a place Satan can steal our Peace, if we are unWise to what is really going on. The Holy Spirit we allow / LET control our heart is vital to our freedoms in Christ. God will give you a method, if need be to Reconcile Peace between believers. But, as far as unbelievers, they must first come to Christ to understand what forgiveness is all about. Release that forgiveness in the rightful Hand of Jesus, where there is nothing left for us to forgive, because Forgiveness has come for whosoever might believe.
Stay Blessed my Friends! Love in Christ is Powerful!
JESUS ALREADY DID IT ALL!
If you don’t know Jesus like this, Come! Come to the ONE who died for your sins, because God desires for you to come home to be with Him! Yes, my friend, there is forgiveness, grace and HOPE! Won’t you receive the Grace Jesus left for you? Peace, Joy, Freedom from sin and when you Receive this, you will never be the same! And, when you Come, STAY! Jesus loves you! We are praying for you; and when you come, please pray for us as well! There is more than what you see in front of you! Look up to the Heaven’s and know God has known you since BEFORE you were even born! God loved you and knew the choices you would make! Jesus loved you, because you needed His Love So … Now, all that is left, is for you to come and receive the Mercy and Grace that God has waiting for you. Believe in your heart that Jesus is Raised from the Dead; and Confess with your mouth, Jesus is your Lord. God will hear you no matter how you say it, because God looks at and knows the value of your heart!
