Only nine nations have a higher reported abortion rate than the US

“Shout Your Abortion” founder Amelia Bonow recently released a video of her talking with young children about her abortion. She explains to them that doctors “suck the pregnancy out” and compares the procedure to going to the dentist.

She tells the children: “I feel like if I am forced to create life, I have lost the right to my own life. I should be the one to decide if my body creates a life.”

In related news, a mail-order abortion pill service began operating last year, part of a push to enable more women to perform their own abortions.

Meanwhile, Planned Parenthood has launched a billboard campaign promoting abortion in Iowa. One advertisement pictures a woman who had an abortion with the words, “I had an abortion, and I am not ashamed.”

The campaign comes in response to a law signed by Iowa Gov. Kim Reynolds that bans most abortions after a fetal heartbeat is detected, usually about six weeks into a pregnancy.

According to the United Nations, only nine nations have a higher reported abortion rate than the United States: Bulgaria, Cuba, Estonia, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Romania, Russia, Sweden, and Ukraine.

“He made him in the likeness of God”

When Eve delivered her firstborn son, she testified, “I have gotten a man with the help of the Lord” (Genesis 4:1). When her first son killed her second son and Eve gave birth to a third, she said of him, “God has appointed for me another offspring” (v. 25).

The next chapter states: “When God created man, he made him in the likeness of God. Male and female he created them, and he blessed them and named them Man when they were created” (Genesis 5:1-2).

Note that Scripture describes humans in this way even after the Fall. Even after our disobedience in the Garden of Eden and our murderous sins against each other. According to the Bible, every human is a person of inestimable worth because each human is created on purpose for a purpose.

Imagine a society in which everyone agreed with God’s word.

“Reclaim your primal identity”

Legalized abortion has ended the lives of nearly sixty-one million American babies. Euthanasia is available to more Americans than ever before. Terrorists value human life less than their own radical ideology. Drug dealers, pornographers, and sex traffickers make people a means to their profits.

Valuing people as God does would change every dimension of life today. But to love people as God does means that we must also love ourselves as God does.

Henri Nouwen: “I don’t often ‘feel’ like a beloved child of God. But I know that that is my most primal identity and I know that I must choose it above and beyond my hesitations.

“Strong emotions, self-rejection, and even self-hatred justifiably toss you about, but you are free to respond as you will. You are not what others, or even you, think about yourself. You are not what you do. You are not what you have. You are a full member of the human family, having been known before you were conceived and molded in your mother’s womb.

“In times when you feel bad about yourself, try to choose to remain true to the truth of who you really are. Look in the mirror each day and claim your true identity. Act ahead of your feelings and trust that one day your feelings will match your convictions. Choose now and continue to choose this incredible truth. As a spiritual practice claim and reclaim your primal identity as [the] beloved daughter or son of a personal Creator.”

“Stew” that cannot feed our souls

Why do you need to “reclaim your primal identity”?

Temptation invites us to become less than we are, trading our birthright as God’s beloved children for “stew” that cannot feed our souls (cf. Genesis 25:29-34). Guilt over the past deafens us to God’s invitation to forgiveness and freedom. Fear of the future discounts our Father’s providential care for his own.

Why is the World full of evil?

“So I tell you this, and insist on it in the Lord, that you must no longer live as the Gentiles do, in the futility of their thinking. They are darkened in their understanding and separated from the life of God because of the ignorance that is in them due to the hardening of their hearts” Eph 4: 17, 18.

The Scriptures call the mind of the natural man “blinded” 2 Cor. 4:4, “depraved” Romans 1:28, “corrupt” 1 Tim. 6:5, and “unspiritual” Col. 2:18. The natural mind thinks from a humanistic, sin-debased viewpoint. The viewpoint of the flesh directs its thoughts. The sinful mind is under the control of Satan and can never please God because it concentrates on things of the world and not things of the Spirit. The natural mind walks the road of hopelessness and self-destruction.

. New research shows that Church attendance in America is down to 20%, Churches are closing, so what should we expect?

Many in America have made politics and politicians their God. They look to politicians to solve their problems. That is not going to happen, God is God. If politicians could solve anything we would not be in the mess we are in.

I spend so much of my day in prayer……..moaning and groaning for America, our children and our grand babies….the America I once knew……it breaks my heart as to what we have become, we are a lawless nation.

Chuck Colson warned years ago before his death, “The American Church has turned into a High School Pep rally” so true, so sad. I see this all play out in front of me.

In his new book, John Bevere, writes in “UNDERCOVER”, Lawlessness is so rampant today in America. We are warned, “For the secret power of lawlessness is already at work” 2 Thess 2:7 NIV. The New King King James version refers to it as the “mystery of lawlessness.”

The mystery is hidden in its secret power. With believers, lawlessness would not be effective if blatant, only if subtle and deceptive. That is the mystery. God does not want us ignorant of this mystery or secret power, He warns us, 2 Cor. 2:11.

Satan is the master of deception. Think of it: he led a third of the angels in an uprising against God, Rev. 12:3-4. That took place in a perfect environment, in the very presence of our glorious Lord! Jesus warned that Satan was not only a deceiver but the very father of it, John 8:44. Jesus also warned us that Satan’s delusions and deceptions would be so strong in the latter days that if it were possible even the elect would fall prey to them, Matt. 24:24.

I am getting a lot out of  Jon Bevere’s new book, very timely. I am feeling very old in this world with my beliefs, my faith in God, in following His ways and Words and tuning into the Holy Spirit constantly through the day for direction.

Far to many are running off and spouting off nonsense, because they are off of God’s train, that is what is called lawlessness.

I close with this from Charles Stanley, in this world of impatience, this world that wants everything NOW, WAIT….God promises that He acts on our behalf when we wait for Him. Is. 64:4. If we run ahead of Him and try to fix things on our own or manipulate circumstances, we will most certainly be disappointed. However, if we wait on the Lord, then our sovereign, divine, omnipotent God will act on our behalf. It’s our choice.

Far to many have made the wrong choice, they go forth without God.

So many are trying to fix things on their own without God, so many are manipulating the people of America.

God is not happy with America….How can He be?

This is a sad story, but it is information we need to digest as we go forth everyday to carry out the Great Commission, Matthew 28:16-20 This is why God formed FGGAM, to share His light to a dark world. In my 62 years I have not seen America in such bad shape. So many murders, just so much awful violence, so much anger, so much division, worse than Watergate and the Vietnam War. I am very tired of posting that the flag is now at half-staff because of another mass shooting, 2018 may be a record year for that. I do not know this America. America has lost its moral compass. So many worship politics as their God, the Lord has shown me this is a huge problem in America, people making politics and politicians  their God. Politics is destroying America. The Lord has shown me to stick with it, to shine our light to one person at a time. So many people have left the Church, they are discouraged, I know, I counsel them. So many see no benefit in going to Church, many say they worship God at home or in the Forrest or other such places.

When Billy and Ruth Graham received the Congressional Gold Medal in 1996, Dr. Graham told an assembly of our nation’s most powerful leaders: “You know the problems as well as I do–crime and violence, children taking weapons to school, broken families, drugs, teenage pregnancy, and corruption. The list is almost endless. We have confused liberty with license, and we are paying the awful price.”

My heart breaks for my children and grandchildren, growing up in this world is so very tough and will get tougher. Politics is not the answer, JESUS is the only answer.

It is way beyond time to sound the alarm, America needs to repent and seek the face of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Thomas a’ Kempis said, “When Jesus is near, all is well and nothing seems difficult. When He is absent, all is hard.”

Particularly alarming is the plunge in church membership by people in their 20s and 30s. One in three are now churchless, according to the Pew Research Center. Faith leaders are racking their brains over how to reach these adults who may never step under a steeple.

Heaven help us…..

This just shakes me to the core of my being……this is the world we live in… no value for life, an online service called Aid Access launched in the summer to provide prescription abortion pills by mail to women in the U.S., Founder Rebecca Gomperts, a Dutch physician and activist, has for years run Women on Web, which ships abortion pills to women in countries where abortion is illegal.

I do not know this America.
