He Will Re-Write Your Story…
Good morning beautiful people. Yesterday, I spoke at church and I was going to share from Matthew 5 about being the salt and the light in our world. During the worship time in which I am helping with too, I tripped over the microphone cord. I laughed at myself but immediately I felt to shift my talk to share from Isaiah 61. I ended up sharing some of my own personal story and how God can re-write a life story. God can take the most broken lives and restore them. He is the master re-builder of ancient ruins.
Today, God may want you to share your story with a neighbor, friend, co-worker, etc. He will use it to bring hope to people. There is no one that has messed up or tripped up that He can’t restore. His arm is long enough to reach down and pull anyone up from the pit. His grace is sufficient. Let’s pray once again from Isaiah 61.
The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is on me, because the Lord has anointed me
to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted,
to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners,
to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor and the day of vengeance of our God,
to comfort all who mourn, and provide for those who grieve in Zion—to bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of joy instead of mourning, and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair. They will be called oaks of righteousness,
a planting of the Lord for the display of his splendor. They will rebuild the ancient ruins
and restore the places long devastated; they will renew the ruined cities
that have been devastated for generations. Let’s Pray:

Father, thank you that you are the master re-builder. Broken people, broken lives is what you died for. Thank you for making beautiful stories out of our lives. Oh God, how we want to worship you both day and night, never forgetting our brokenness and how you turned our darkness into light.
Father, thank you for journeying the day with us. Use our story to help someone we pray. Thank you for re-writing our story. Thank you for continuing to change us, all for your glory. Amen
Have a blessed day God’s beautiful people. Never stop sharing your story.
