Some will remember good old ‘Red’ as I call him. Red Skelton, for decades, entertained us on radio and television with some of, if not, the best comedy ever known to mankind. Red’s comedy was also moral and wholesome and had no need for censorship or ratings; it was good comedy without the need for profanity or rude innuendos to assist a lacking dialog.
Unbeknownst to many, Red was also a very patriotic American who loved his country dearly.
In 1952, on his television show, he broadcast a Thanksgiving message that all should hear.
