What Does God Say About Treasures…
Good morning beautiful people. This morning I was thinking about treasures. I have a small treasure chest I purchased at a garage sale for $5.00. I keep trinkets in it that have a special meaning. My granddaughter empties it often, so I decided to put something else in it that she could enjoy when she opens it. She always looks amazed as she empties it out. Let’s Pray:

Father, the Bible instructs us Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moth and rust do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also. (Matthew 6:19-21)
Father, thank you for the treasure of Jesus. In Matthew 28:18 Jesus tells us all authority in heaven and on earth belongs to Him. In Matthew 6:21 For where are treasure is, there our heart will be also. Matthew 13:44
Together, let’s pray the Lord’s Prayer:
Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name, your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us today our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one. For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen (Matthew 6:9-13)
Father, thank you for being our greatest treasure. Amen.
