It’s A God Thing! By Karen Rowe
9 Who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began,
10 But is now made manifest by the appearing of our Saviour Jesus Christ, who hath abolished death, and hath brought life and immortality to light through the gospel:
Come COME come UP out of the water!
Why did Jesus submit to being baptized?
Matthew 3:16 states :
“And Jesus, when he was baptized, went up straightway out of the water: and, lo, the heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon him (Matthew 3:16 KJV):”
Matthew 3:15 gives us an understanding:
“And Jesus answering said unto him, Suffer it to be so now: for thus it becometh us TO fulfil ALL righteousness. Then he suffered him (Matthew 3:15 KJV.)”
Now back to us! Why should we not be buried with Jesus in spiritual Baptism?
“Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also SHOULD WALK IN NEWNESS OF LIFE (Romans 6:4 KJV).”
Come come come up out of the water!
Come! As, “Jesus, when he was baptized, went up
S T R A I G H T WAY out of the water” so must we take on NOT a form, but take on His Righteousness; and NOT deny the POWER within, but rather grow by the Holy Spirit Power of God whom lives within.
Read more & more not to mearly increase your knowledge of God, but to continue to Believe and apply to your life in a living relationship with our Spiritual Father in Heaven, Creator & Savoir, Helper, Comforter, Wisdom & Power!
Why deny the POWER of God with in?
Want to experience God move in your life? Believe God can work in you & allow Him space in your heart to show you!
If you blew up a balloon, what would it take to move you to let some bad air out? You can’t see the air in a balloon; but God can tell you …
It takes faith to believe! To let air out only to fill it back up again? You would have to be convinced that instruction is of God; right?
Not everything we think is sin is sin to God. It took my faith to write that. Not everything we think is righteous is righteousness either.
God surely looks at and knows the secret places in our heart.
“For he that is dead is FREED from sin (Romans 6:7 KJV).”
