The Satisfied Life…

Good morning beautiful people, good morning. As I was rocking my grandson back to sleep this early morning, I prayed that he would know Jesus at a young age. He turned one recently and his life has just begun, really. I am not sure what the road ahead will look like for him, but I pray it’s the John 10:10 life. My purpose is to give them a rich and satisfying life. (NLT) Every day is a gift from God to live, to love and to enjoy. When we close our eyes at the end of this day, it is forever gone, never to get it back.

Today, let’s choose to forgive those that have betrayed us, those that thought the worst when we did nothing wrong. Today, let’s put the past in the past and begin our day drawing close to Jesus. Let’s choose to let everything go right up until this moment in time, so that we can live free in Christ. (John 8:36)

My sister Jen would sing this song frequently, One Day At A Time Sweet Jesus, that’s all I am asking from you, the words continued on. Funny how the mind can take you back in a moments notice of yesteryears. Her life was anything but easy, but she taught me much through the eyes of a woman with a rare bone disease.

Today, let’s choose to live a satisfied life, rich in Jesus. Let’s have a John 10:10 kind of day. Amen? Amen! Let’s Pray:

Father, thank you for the very breath we will breathe today. Our days are in your hands. You predestined all our days before time ever began. (Psalm 139:16) Your eyes saw my unformed body; all the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be.

Father, give us the grace to forgive the unforgiveable, to love the unlovable and to enjoy the day we have been given. Amen.

Have a blessed day God’s most beautiful people. Let’s choose to enjoy our day, for we do not know what tomorrow will hold.

This is the day the Lord has made. We will rejoice and be glad in it. (Psalm 118:24)
