I have been so very touched by the tributes and stories about Albuquerque City Councilor Ken Sanchez, who passed away this week. I never did get to meet him. It would have been so very nice to just have a cup of coffee with him and talk about our City. It is so very, very refreshing to read about an elected official that was so loved and respected. Both Democrats and Republicans speak very highly of Mr. Sanchez. I pray that as you read this tribute, that it will encourage you, it sure has me. We need more leaders like Mr. Sanchez.
I have had some good considerations with our Councilor here in Taylor Ranch, Cynthia Borrego, she also is a wonderful person. Councilor Borrego has helped resolve some issues we were having.
I want to encourage us all to pray for our Mayor Tim Keller and all City Councilors.
